Responsible Gaming
Last updated: 26 August 2026
This English (Ireland) summary reflects the responsible-gaming controls described in the current Vave terms and adds independent support contacts for people in Ireland.
Keep Gambling in Perspective
Gambling should be entertainment and never a source of income, a way to recover debt or a substitute for financial planning. Set a budget before play, track time and spending, and never chase a loss.
Warning Signs
Take action if gambling is taking more time or money than planned, affecting work or relationships, causing secrecy or borrowing, or being used to escape stress. Stop playing and seek independent help if control is becoming difficult.
Personal Limits
Vave customers can ask support to set deposit, loss and wager limits for daily, weekly or monthly periods. Limits should be chosen before play and based only on money that can safely be lost.
Cooling-Off
The current terms describe cooling-off periods of one week, one month, three months or six months. While active, deposits and promotional offers are blocked, but remaining funds may be withdrawn subject to account and verification rules. The account reactivates after the selected period.
Self-Exclusion
Self-exclusion periods in the current terms are six months, nine months or one year. The account is disabled and promotions stop for the selected period. Customers can contact support@vave.com to request exclusion or a permanent stop.
Protecting Minors
Vave is for adults aged 18 or over. Account credentials and payment methods must not be shared with a child. Families can use device-level blocking, parental controls and separate user profiles to reduce unauthorised access.
